“Location, views, room, reception all great 👍”
Lovely receptionist and such a good breakfast. Rooms were clean and had a view over to the mountains. Kitchen allowed cooking of evening meal and had the best view of the pseudo craters. Breakfast was superb.

“Authentic farm stay with amazing breakfast and great location”
A genuine farm experience with a very welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The breakfast was generous and high quality. The location is perfect, right across from the craters, and staying on a working farm was unique.

“Fun farm based stay!”
We loved the farm based stay and even got to see a lamb being born. Breakfast was good. Blockout shutters on the windows worked well for the late setting/early rising sun.

“Perfect place to stay in Myvatn”
The location was perfect across the street from the craters and on the working farm was a bonus. The room with a view was lovely. The big breakfast was fantastic and the shared kitchen was used by many.

“Amazing stay on a farm”
We were warmly welcomed on this family owned farm. Even got a chance to see the animals, the cows and the calves and the lambs. Everything was super clean and tidy. Our room was big enough for us. The breakfast was filled with homemade products (super tasty ones!) which was a big plus for us.

“Lovely stay”
Guesthouse was attached to a working farm. We were able to go and see the cows milked and then drink the milk at breakfast, asking with fresh eggs and homemade jams. There was also home smoked trout, delicious.

The most luxurious, even when not the most expensive, stay of our whole trip. Room was big and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen with full scale oven and two stoves invited to cooking. View from windows was unique, there is path thru "false volcanoes" right in front of Guesthouse. Breakfast was delicious with homemade marmelade and jams (paprika and chilli was something special!) and lavabread. They served milk and eggs right from their farm. We enjoyed visit to barns to see cows, sheep and chickens. Whole area is full on natural wonders.

Family run guesthouse near a farm in myvatn, we were located in the main dormitory with a shared bathroom and kitchen, everything was clean and homely. We found old guest books to read in the main room, so many stories from 30+ years of solid work. They served a nice breakfast with attention to detail and to enhance local cuisine with farm sourced ingredients and locally sourced fish.
