How lucky we were to stay in this gorgeous hotel overlooking Lake Myvatn. It’s the perfect place to stay when visiting the myriad landscape features. Great views, lovely food & cosy rooms.

Fantastic location, great comfortable room and bathroom. We had a downstairs room with a small outside space from where we saw great Aurora Bolearis! The food at the restaurant was fantastic and the staff very friendly.

“Wonderful stay”
The friendly staff x The views ! Book a lake view. We had dinner in our room and it was lovely, too tired to get changed. This place should be bursting with tourists but it is close to Akuyeri. I think we were in a newly redecorated room . The view from the beds !

“Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location”
It was our third stay at Fosshotel along our Iceland trip, and it was the best one. Surprisingly we got upgraded to a suit, and it was absolutely amazing!
