Overview
Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. At Eldá Guesthouse you will find a garden, a common dining room and a shared kitchen. I liked the common room for breakfast as we could sit with new friends. The breakfast was varied and good, with healthy options. I was happy to try the lava bread, especially.

Excellent breakfast, my only suggestion would be to include a bit more fruit like berries or bananas to have with the skyr. The coffee was very good for a self serve machine

“It’s a good place to stay”
Elda guesthouse is a good place to stay. The bathroom is clean and had hot water. The breakfast was okay. We left early and the hostess was putting out food as quickly as possible for us.
