A hidden gem in the heart of the Peloponnese. We are spending 2 unforgettable days in this beautiful home nestled among olive trees, just a 3-minute walk from the historic village of Mystras. Located on the top floor, our apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need—from a charming kitchen and cozy living room with fireplace to two balconies offering breathtaking views of the Taygetos mountains. The garden is a small paradise, with sweet oranges and pomegranates growing just outside. Each morning, we woke gently to the soft sound of sheep bells drifting through the open balcony doors, greeted by the serene panorama of the Laconian hills. It’s the perfect way to begin a day of exploring the fascinating ruins of the Byzantine city nearby. The kind host made us feel truly welcome. Within walking distance, you’ll find traditional tavernas in two nearby villages, and a short 30-minute hike leads to a stunning rock-hewn chapel—a quiet cultural treasure tucked into the landscape. This place is more than a stay—it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, nature, and a touch of magic.

“The most excellent apartment!”

The apartment is a 10-minute drive to Sparta and within walking distance of Mystra, a charming little village with a nice choice of tavernas. Set in a unique position, amidst a grove of olive and orange trees, the apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The full kitchen was equipped for most levels of cookery. We were invited to help ourselves to the sweet, juicy oranges left on the trees; their fresh juice was a fabulous addition to our breakfasts. The views were lovely from both of our balconies and we were surrounded by the sounds of nature. Air conditioning cooled well and the wifi was stable. We were welcomed warmly by Anastasia, who showed us around, explained all the features and offered her support throughout our visit. Good value for money. This is a great apartment, which I highly recommend.

“quiet, peaceful, amazing and historical”

The location is wonderful. You can enjoy the grappes in the garden when you are thirsty from the travel. The house is very quiet and very close to the center and the historical site.

we fell in love with this apartment in the middle of the olive trees, just outside Mystras. worth spending a little more to enjoy the view from the top floor. if we could we would have stopped again. if you are looking for a bit of tranquility in the middle of nature, this is the right place for you.

We stayed one night whilst walking the E4. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
