“20/10 – A true example of Greek hospitality!😂”

I prefer small hotels because the welcome and care truly reflect authentic Greek hospitality. It is run by a very kind and welcoming family who made me feel at home from the very first moment. As I was traveling solo without transportation, they kindly picked me up from the port free of charge, which I truly appreciated. The room was spotless and exactly as I had hoped for. The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade products and excellent coffee — I absolutely loved it! I was also impressed by their own honey, produced by their family for four generations. It has a unique flavor and a beautiful amber color (I bought some from the hotel and highly recommend it!). The location is perfect — right across from the beach (just cross the road and you’re at the stunning Mylopotas beach), next to great restaurants and very close to the bus stop. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Really amazing Hotel directly at Mylopotas beach, with great and lovely hosts! Rooms were really clean and the View from our Balcony was amazing. Also the breakfast was really good, everyday something different and also Home baked! 🌸 Our Host also picked us up from the ferry! Make sure to buy some amazing honey from the owners!

We had a wonderful stay at Deep Blue Rooms Apartment. The rooms were very clean and always smelled fresh, and the whole place had such a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. The beach is only one minute away, and having the bus stop right in front of the apartment was very convenient. It is a family-run business, and everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and polite. They even picked us up from the ferry, which made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Breakfast was amazing — everything was handmade, fresh, and more than enough. They also make their own honey, which was absolutely delicious. We bought some to take home and highly recommend trying it. We stayed in May before the season fully started, so it was the perfect quiet and relaxing getaway. Since it’s known as a party island, we’re not sure how it feels during peak season, but our experience was calm, comfortable, and very enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. Of course cats, as well.

“Lovely stay in a lovely apartment in a lovely village with a lovely host!”

From our warm welcome from Azaris at the airport, to his insistence on taking us to the port when we left, this was a great stay. He was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. There was a sunny morning terrace with a sea view and two back balconies with mountain and village views. An old style Greek experience with all the character and hospitality that makes it so special.

Adonnis and Irini could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They collected us from the ferry and dropped us off and made and served breakfast each morning including Irini making some lovely pumpkin cakes when we saw and talked about some squashes they had grown. They both work extreemly hard to ensure the comfort of all their guests. The room was spotlessly clean and the balcony large with a washing line. it is about 100m walk up the drive to the beach and you see glimpses of the sea from the balcony. We stayed at the end of the season so it was very quiet with only older couples there so it was not noisy at night. There was a large fridge.

Everything was outstanding 👏 The whole family welcomed us with warmth. They provide transportation from and to the port of Ios. The rooms are same as the pictures 📸 The breakfast was different everyday. The location was amazing...2 min away from the stunning Mylopotas beach. It was very clean as well! Good location just across the beach. We liked the outdoor space where we could also spend time in the afternoon. There isn’t much space in the rooms to dine or play board games, but we spent a couple evenings there. Breakfast was a good, nice variety of sweet options, plus hard boiled egg and a small ham and cheese sandwich. Some homemade cake, too!

Amazing location, seconds from the beach and right in front of the bus stop. 20 min walk to Chora which and great views along the way. Owners are lovely and really welcoming and rooms are everything you need. Free pickup from the port is also amazing and very rare

The room was great. So much space and very clean! Host was very responsive and lovely which we appreciated a lot. Location to the beach was also great as well as the balcony we enjoyed relaxing on. Had a great time here :)

“Wish We Could Stay Longer”

Super impressed with the family team that run it. They were very good at communicating with us prior to arrival, provided free transfers from and back to the ferry terminal, a big breakfast and loads of kindness. The location was close to bars, cafes, and restaurants as well as a lovely swimming beach. Even though it was close to nightlife the room was peaceful and quiet. There was a peaceful balcony area and it had good kitchen facilities. It is an older hotel but well maintained and clean.

“Lovely Stay”

We stayed only one night at Deep Blue Hotel but the welcome was warm and friendly. The room had everything we needed, very clean and with a modern air conditioner that worked perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, perfect to start the day. The hotel is just a couple steps from the beach and set back from the main road, so it’s nice and quiet. Amazing value for money, highly recommended!

The property was family run and everyone working there was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, all homemade and different every day. Lots of Greek foods for us to try. The rooms were spotless.

Outstanding. Made to feel so welcome and looked after so well including free collection from the port, lift to do shopping, beautiful food, extra treats for the children and seeds to take home! Visited in April before the other hotels were open so had the beach to ourselves. Great swimming.
