“Other than the payment and check-in fiasco it was decent enough and pleasantly comfortable.”
I was overcharged. I booked and “paid” on Priceline the amount of $75.91 which I have a receipt for. Then I get to the hotel and the desk clerk was missing for about 10 minutes. Nobody there. I’m shouting “Hello, is anyone here?” and I can only stand there until finally the gal comes out and hustles me through the check-in process without really looking at me. It was extremely odd. Then a little later I get notified that my card was now charged by Comfort Inn and Suites for $79.90. I asked the morning clerk about it and she said that the money would be refunded but it might take a day. Still no refund and at this point it doesn’t seem like I will get one.
