If mobility regarding stairs is an issue be aware that all the rooms are up a flight of stairs.

Mary, the host was warm and very welcoming! As we are animal lovers we truly enjoyed her adorable dogs & cats. The bed was super cozy and comfortable and Mary went out of her way to prepare a delicious breakfast which included an omelet, homemade yogurt, jams and fabulous PEI potatoe hashbrowns. We also enjoyed the hottub with a view of a Harbour.

Comfortable rooms but just to say the shower is shared. We only stayed there for one night because we wanted to be close to the ferry so we didnt get to enjoy it fully. There was a hot tub and a garden overlooking the pier. It just so happened the evening we were there we had fireworks and a local gathering with music and lobster rolls. It all felt very quaint. The host was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely homemade food.

“Perfect stay”
Beautiful property. The room was on first floor (one up from ground level) and had a en suite toilet, A/C, tv, and a very comfortable bed. Shared shower in the hall was lovely. Breakfast was amazing and served by the lovely Mary. Only 45 minutes drive to Charlottetown through beautiful countryside. Parking on site. A few cats and dogs to greet you. We didn’t get to use the hot tub but it looked great.

“We had a very pleasant stay and were reluctant to leave. We would stay here again on a future visit”
Our host was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were made to order and included farm fresh eggs, home made jams, and large portions. Our room was large and airy with a view of the river, opening windows and air conditioning if it was too warm.

enjoyed the breakfast that one cannot get in a busy city. fresh egg from farm & homemade jam. puppies are so adorable and interactive :) really like the peaceful area. glad I can find it!

The host was most welcoming and happily suggested restaurants for supper. The breakfast was very good and the pancakes were superb. Home made jams and good quality maple syrup added to the experience. Rooms were very clean and the bed was most comfy.

“A deck and hot tub with a view”
Beautiful views over the river from the deck and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Very thoughtful to supply a robe, outdoor towels and flip flops. We got a very warm welcome and lots of useful local info. Try the delicious rhubarb preserve.

Mary is very welcoming. A great cook, many breakfast options to choose from. Very considerate and friendly with all the guests. B&B nice with all you need if you forgot something. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Mary was an exceptional host and we immediately felt welcome. The location was lovely and we went for a walk where we saw spawning gasperau fish. We would highly recommend the Olde Anchor
