“Tranquil lagoon side apartment”

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. What is special about the apartment, is that it is located right on the lagoon on the tranquil island of Murano. The sun rises over the lagoon and you are close to birdlife and normal everyday life. Venice is so busy most of the year that it was a pleasure to come back to a quiet place. We had breakfast by the lagoon watching fishermen set up on the other side of the canal and people rowing their one gondolas for leisure and sport. The vaporetto stop Murano Navagero is a ten minute walk, as is the basilica, supermarket, shops and the glass workshops. Everyday, we took the vaporetto to Venice which is a short and easy ride. There is a direct vaporetto from the station. Our host was very welcoming and helpful with info. We even had a personal tour of the De Biasi glass making workshop from the family.

Everything is superlative. The apartment is located in one of the most romantic places in the world, superbly furnished, richly equipped, very spacious. A special note to the owner: a consummate, attentive, exceptionally pleasant gentleman. Every stay turns into a memory...

“Delightful place to stay if you appreciate tranquility”

The views from terrace and all windows are wonderful - unobstructed view of lagoon. I took the time to simply look and observe the water. The host, Cristiano, is a very gracious gentleman. He made us feel at home and was attentive to details. I visited both of he and his brother's shops in Murano (De Biasi Vetro) - interesting and beautiful objects. The house/apartment itself is well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable. We prepared most meals there as we enjoyed the atmosphere (and well-equipped kitchen). The bathroom is very spacious, airy, and views over the lagoon! There is a large bedroom/large (160 or 180cm?Not sure) and a small room with single bunk bed (view of lagoon!), and another small room. I also like the location - deep in residential area and very quiet neighborhood. The sound of boats is the only manmade sound.

It is the last property right on the edge of the island so beautiful views towards the lagoon. The property is spacious with all facilities you would expect. It also has a lovely spacious terrace.
