“Cute little holiday village by lake Särkijärvi”
Pekka is a very nice host who greeted us at the reception and explained everything briefly in a very finnish way. The houses are all close to the lake with very nice views. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. Just a walk down the lake offers stunning Northern Light views and the cute wooden houses make for a perfect background

“Amazing lodge”
Very friendly and helpful owners, fantastic lodge, spacious and comfortable. Lovely lake for a dip before heading back to the sauna. Shame we weren't staying longer.

This place was like being in a dreamworld every moment of the day, starting from the morning when a pink light of sunrise appears behind the lodge, till during the night the northern lights make their magic dance above the lake.

Great little holiday place, very clean apartment with a sauna, comfortable, very warm. Everything worked well. The "kota" by the lake is very nice, wood fired sauna to be booked in advance (charge), it's in high demand. We could use canoe/row boat for free. Lovely location by the lake.

Basic accommodation with no extras. Best thing was the kota (hut with fireplace) next to the lake. Lake sauna was fully booked so we had the electric sauna in our apartment. It was ok.

Large, well-equipped cabins in a good, quiet location. Decent breakfast, although the bread is stale. The lady who runs the breakfast is nice and friendly.

Very comfortable stay here. Modern, very clean and quiet. Just a one night stay. Good location- short drive to Särkitunturi . Short walks possible with the dog straight from the door
