Quietly located in the heart of Wetterau, this family-run hotel is just a 30-minute drive from Frankfurt. It offers free WiFi and is in the same building as a regional restaurant with peaceful beer garden. Bright, spacious rooms with satellite TV and work desk are found at the Burghotel Münzenburg GmbH. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided in the modern private bathrooms. Breakfast is served at the hotel each morning. “A gem in a quiet rural setting.”
The staff was very accommodating and friendly, they were able to adjust the rooms for us at the last minute when our plans changed and a few children tagged along with us. The communication was very open and precise. The rooms and beds are clean and comfy, the breakfast was great. We weren’t able to enjoy the beer garden due to other evening plans but it looks pretty sweet as well. Will definitely come back when we are in the region again, the surroundings are beautiful.

“Rural idyll”
We stayed two nights in this hotel which was very nice, lift to upper floors, good size pleasant room, al fresco dining. super location/rural idyll. Nice village, friendly people, easy parking. Close to old castle, which is a short walk away. 20 min drive from Butzbach, which has beautiful medieval town square and lovely shops, well worth a visit. In all a hidden gem.

“Excellent family-run hotel next to the highway”
We were a party of four, 2 adults, 2 kids. We stayed in the triple room with an extra cot and there was still plenty of space to run around for the kids. The rooms are simply quite big. Bathroom was very big and the shower was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and warm. The staff left some water and refreshments for the first night. We could use the free parking. Breakfast was simply put amazing and the staff provided excellent attention, they were really nice and took care of the kids. I will be coming back if I can.
