“A nice hotel at the bottom of Lake Starnberg. Clean rooms, friendly staff and fantastic food”
Very friendly staff. We booked Friday night at the beginning of January, so it was quiet, which is to be expected. The restaurant for our evening meal was superb. We over indulged with a collection of starters, big mains, plenty of Helles and a pudding for my daughter. All hit the spot. Diet starts next week :-) The room was very clean, a good size and a nice on-suite. We all slept very well and was greeted by a nice continental breakfast, with the added bonus of freshly cooked scrambled eggs / omelette. Great walks on the doorstep and Lake Starnberg, was a stones throw away.

The location was convenient on the way from Munich south to Mittenwald. The staff were accommodating.

The hotel is in a tranquil location with beautiful scenery. The lake is nearby, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, and, of course, swimming. Munich is easily and quickly accessible, taking just over half an hour by car. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, allowing us to check into our rooms even though we arrived two hours before check-in. The breakfast was varied and the rooms were cleaned daily.
