“Shocked and disappointed”
We advised the host we would be arriving 10pm due to flight times. This was acknowledged. However when we arrived at 10.20 pm and phoned to let the host know we had arrived we were told it is too late, I don’t speak English. Unfortunately I don’t speak German so he hung up and then blocked my number. I have an 8 year old son. Stranded in the countryside in the middle of the night. Nothing short of shocked. I have used booking.com for a number of trips and only ever had good experiences so this was really disappointing

Not a typical hotel, but a small boutique that feels like staying with a friend. Perfect service, highly recommended. Just be aware that you will need to arrange breakfast yourself. Bakery at 10 minutes walk.
