Spectacular location and lovely warm cottage. The description undersells the property as it doesn't make clear that there are two bedrooms!

“Superb experience with views that go on forever”

Like everyone before us, first mention has to go to the incredible views. No matter what the weather, or which direction you look, you'll be blown away by the sheer majesty of the mountains and ocean. The place feels like a true gem - a retreat from the outside world and also an excellent base for exploring the southern part of the Western Fjords region. Lots of nice hot springs nearby, and beautiful walks right on your doorstep. The cottage is well equipped, the peace and quiet is fantastic and the views just carry on forever. Worth coming to the Western Fjords just for this experience!

“Nice quiet location.”

Stayed 2 nights on our Westfjords side-trip from the Iceland ring road. Communication on location and check-in was clear. Nice quiet location adjacent to coast. Comfortable bed and roomy living space with small wood heater, which was great on cold nights. WiFi and other listed facilities were all good.

“Cute cottage with amazing views”

We wish we could stay longer in this cozy little hut with the most amazing view. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of the ocean and the amazing clouds and colours right outside the cottage. We love it that we can see the beautiful view from the sofa and dining area. The heating kept us warm. There's a cute little fireplace as well facing the sofa. The terrace and the view are awesome but too cold and windy for us to take advantage of it. The temperature was around 1C late August. Well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook our instant noodles. Great location to base ourselves to explore the area. We appreciate having the self service seafood grocery and hotpool nearby. We received clear check-in instructions. Easy to locate. We matched the location on bookings.com to Google map.

“Mesmerising”

Breathtaking location. Every window offers you a sight that seems like an artwork. Me and my friends ended up sitting in the dark, listening to a piano music and simply looking outside in the silence. Probably for hours. One of the best stays in my life.

The property is both spacious and comfortable. The view over the fjord is is outstanding.

“Lovely stay by the sea”

We loved this little house by the sea. It has with big windows, lots of light and very peaceful views and relaxing atmosphere. We also liked the opportunity for barbecue and grilled some very delicious lamb. Bed was very comfy and we slept very well. The whole area is quiet and not many people/cars around. We passed time walking in the beach, collecting shells and reading books. We highly recommend this place for all who want to wind down and just take it easy.

The location of the small house is amazing. The views from all windows are crazy nice, direct see and waves, beautiful cliffs, sheeps, and even Snaefellsnes when weather is nice :) The house itself is very cute from outside, and nothing is missing inside. The terrasse is a very good thing if it isn't too windy. Really good feeling of being isolated, no actual other house in field of view.

If you look for a quiet place to relax and to enjoy the North West fjords, this is the place. Far from any city and any light polution which allowed us to enjoy some nice northern lights in the first night. Easy chek in and check out, all needed equipment and confort.

Very cozy little cottage. Wonderful to be so close to the ocean. One night we saw two seals while we were eating dinner by the kitchen table.
