Self-contained, quiet, rural, clean, new and well appointed, pet friendly (with a huge space for the dogs to run around), only 4km out of Town. They had a verandah with a Weber BBQ that was perfect for meals and a fire-pit to sit around and drink all the wine we purchased on our wine tour.

It was a perfect little stop. Very relaxing.

Our stay was wonderful!! The accomodation is perfect and cosy, the view is incredibly stunning. Steph and Rick made us feel very welcome, and were the perfect hosts!! Exactly what one would want for a little winter weekend away. Couldn’t be more happy with finding this little gem - Toms Cottage!

We just had the pleasure of spending two nights at Toms Cottage in Mudgee and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has loads of charm, is full of character, and offers beautiful views of the countryside. Located within very easy access to all Mudgee has to offer, this lovely and tasteful accommodation is surrounded by fruit trees, mountain ranges, and cattle grazing in the distance. The gracious hosts have managed to find the perfect balance, offering their guests complete privacy while being available to make sure your time is relaxing and special. We have stayed in Mudgee alot over the years and we've come to realise that we keep being drawn back, not just by all the abundance the region has to offer, but also because of the warmth of people like Steph and Rick. It is for all of these reasons that we can highly recommend staying at Toms Cottage. Just make sure you give yourself the time to linger a little longer. You deserve it...

Waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee on the veranda whilst listening to the birds was truly relaxing. And thank you Birch for visiting, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Such a relaxing and tranquil escape, and only a short drive into the Mudgee town centre for pubs, restaurants and cafes and very close to all of the wineries.

Tom's Cottage was just perfect for our little getaway. We met Rick and was lovely and very accommodating. We had some lovely compliments on arrival and plenty of tea and coffee options. The cottage was clean and quaint. To lounge around on the deck chairs in the winter sun was perfect. The property was perfect. What a bonus that we could bring our pooches. Thank Rick & Steph :)

The cottage was very comfortable and inclusions were lovely with special little touches placed throughout the cottage. The fire pit made for a very lovely evening outdoors, with wood etc provided. We had a lovely walk down to the river and back and encountered lots of bird life. The gardens and trees around the cottage were beautiful and attracted many birds especially little wrens. We would highly recommend Tom's Cottage and will definitely be back.
