“Place is good, I was also looking forward to the pool but its maintenance is questionable.”
That is where a problem existed, I did not get the breakfast that booking.com promised about when I booked and there was not even an explanation by the staff until I questioned and they responded and said they do not offer breakfast and that was the worst inconvenience to me due to the occasion I attended when I slept there with them

“They put our lives at risk, caused us significant trauma, and left us stranded at night.”
Poor customer service from the receptionist and a rude manager . We arrived to check in, only to be told that our reservation was not recognised because their system had been hacked. However, other guests who were there had used the same app we used, which is Booking.com. We were left stranded and were even threatened by the receptionist, who said she would call security to remove us from the property if we did not leave.

Minutes after having confirmed a booking, was informed that there is no room available because their system is hacked. I was informed that I canceled the booking to claim my refund which will be deposited within 5-6 days. I mean at night in Mthatha how do you begin to fina an alternative accommodation. The lady then said unless I settle for a much lower grade room which was available for the night. That was the only choice one had to take the room . Question is , is their booking.com really hacked?
