Overview
Housed in a restored Pelion mansion which was originally built in 1821, Mountains Secret is centrally located in the scenic village of Mouresi. Built in stone and wood, it features traditionally decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. The individually furnished rooms are fitted with Coco-Mat beds and feature an LCD TV and fridge. Each comes with an elegant bathroom with luxurious toiletries. Some rooms have a fireplace, while all of them offer views over the Aegean Sea, the village or the mountain. A buffet breakfast consisting of homemade jams and cakes, local honey, croissants, hot rolls and coffee/tea can be enjoyed each morning. The property is divided in 3 levels each with its own communal lounge with TV, books, magazines and board games. The garden offers shaded seating areas. There are some taverns in the village square with linden trees and the old church of the Holy Trinity. Agriolefkes ski centre is a 25-minute drive away. Well-known beaches such as Papa Nero, Damouhari and Mylopotamos are within a 10-minute drive.

“Excellent”
It was an exceptional stay the property seems like entering a fairytale , extremely clean and cosy . Very close to famous villages and beaches of Pelio plus the village itself has some cafes and taverns . The breakfast offered is fantastic ! Delicious and plenty ! Katerina prepares every morning a lot of local dishes contributing a lot to the whole experience! Moreover gave us very nice tips to explore the area around !! Thank you Katerina !!

Room was super clean, spacious and very well equipped and decorated The outside area was pretty and ideal to spend some time in the morning and have breakfast. Breakfast was very tasty and diverse. There was a parking spot also which is extremely important for this area

“Comfy room with exceptional service”
The breakfast is definitely their highlight. It varied from day to day, with a small selection of salty and sweet dishes each time. We felt taken care of as they prepared orange juice and coffee to our liking each morning. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

“An excellent hotel in a good location, a rich breakfast and the hostess Katrina is great”
A quiet location that is close to all the eastern Pelion beaches, Katrina welcomed us with a smile and made us Greek coffee when we arrived at the hotel. We enjoyed the facilities of the hotel and the breakfast the next day was rich and Katrina Apila prepared something else for us on the place without our asking. We had a lot of fun!

“We wish we can return again and again”
We came back after staying here last Sep.23. All was just wonderful. We wish we could keep it as our Secret :-) The renivated traditional house is magical. Caterina is a jewl. She has the brilliant combination of a warm person, wonderful cook and professional local person who knows any bit and bite if the area. P.s. each day Caterina managed to surprise us with a table full of fresh traditional breakfast.
