Around 5 minutes’ drive from Mountmellick, Barrow View B&B enjoys a relaxed setting near the River Barrow, and provides free parking and Wi-Fi. This guest house is conveniently located for those exploring the spectacular Slieve Bloom Mountains. Rooms have a flat-screen TV with DVD player, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. You will have use of an en suite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries. Barrow View B&B serves a full Irish breakfast each morning, with an early continental breakfast available. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for. This centrally located guest house is around 90km west of Dublin, and around 65km from Kilkenny and Athlone. Many of Ireland’s major cities can be reached by car in around 90 minutes, including Waterford, Limerick and Galway.

We had a lovely time at Barrow View, the room is beautiful and so comfortable. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. The gardens are beautiful. Anne and John are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. We were made to feel right at home. Thank you.

Beautiful guesthouse, peaceful garden with rest areas, comfortable bed. Kettle, tea, coffee and milk provided in rooms. Self-serve breakfast. Good communication by the host. Easy to find.

Anna is a national treasure, the best BnB in Ireland. Beautiful house, lovely fresh breakfast and kind hosts. We spent half a day visiting Emo House, highly recommend. Plenty of great hikes in the area too. Stay here, it's lovely.

Very clean, quiet and cozy home! The hosts were very pleasant and considerate, I've never stayed anywhere before that provided so many little necessities. The bathroom was very well stocked and there was a little stash of tea/coffee and biscuits provided in the room. The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The home was a 5 minute drive from the village and a 15 minute drive from the Slieve Bloom mountains. Perfect for a relaxing stay before/after a hike!
