“Fabulous hosts that are keen to ensure a good stay alongside a spacious 2 bedroom well-equipped gite”
A fully relaxing atmosphere. We had the gite in a small complex which consists of the gite, an apartment or two and chambres d'hote in the owner's main house. A covered swiming pool whch retains heat so water in the pool was always warm and pleasant to swim in. The owners are on hand but never in your face. We all managed to get by with fledgling French and English! The owners, Fanny & Antony, also invited us over for appertifs on our final night which was a lovely touch and it was great to practise our French and them their English as we spent an hour or so sharing over wine and meats. Kitchen was well equipped and a good size fridge freezer and plenty of crockery. Wifi was quick and plentiful when it worked. It did go down a couple of times, but Antony was quick to add extra equipment to get it back up and running. We also had a very small leak in the shower but again Antony applied a fix the same day.
