I paid in euros (the local currency in Spain) to avoid additional exchange fees, as my account is in pounds (£). Despite this, I was still charged a currency conversion fee without any prior notice. After checking my bank account and noticing the charge, I requested to cancel the transaction and paid with another card. However, the refund was processed after deducting the conversion fee, which I consider unfair.
