Overview
Open from July 2014, Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa is situated a 7-minute walk to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. The hotel boasts indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa facilities and large public baths. Emerald Beach is right in front of the property. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Fitted with a seating area with large sofas, each spacious guestroom comes with wide windows that offer plenty of sunshine and a breathtaking ocean view. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub, a hairdryer and free toiletries. While staying at Motobu Orion Hotel, guests can unwind at the hot spring bathing area, enjoy rejuvenating massages or sing their favourite tunes at the karaoke facilities. The hotel’s front desk is open 24 hours and concierge services and tour desk are available. Guests can take part in activities including canoeing, fishing and snorkelling at an additional cost. From Naha Airport, Hotel Orion is a 100-minute drive or 150-minute bus ride on the Yanbaru Express Bus. Kouri Island is a 30-minute drive away.

“Very modern comfortable hotel”
Very comfortable modern hotel, dominating the entire beach in Motobu. The hotel was really top, my room was huge like a small studio and very comfortable. I loved the sodium chloride onsen and the sauna. Very helpful and professional staff.

Junior suite was amazing - and i especially loved the club access and infinity pool. Perfect spot, overlooking the beach. It even rained during our stay but the luxury of the resort meant it was still lovely.

Location ,quiet environment. Wood floor with big size of bdrm. Not many restaurant on walking distance but if you have a car, no problem. Receptionist also helped us to book outside restaurant the next day.

“Great sea view, close to aquarium but limited food choices”
The staff were friendly and the view from the hotel is gorgeous! It is also within walking distance to the aquarium which made it easy to re-enter the aquarium if needed even if you don’t drive. Daily welcome drink was a nice touch! :)

Breakfast was amazing. There were so many options, a good mix of Japanese and Western food, and dishes can change daily. Did enjoy myself sampling each dish. I REALLY love the toast! It was so soft and delicious, especially with the brown sugar syrup on it!

“Overall a great memorable stay in Motobu”
Extremely spacious rooms with a balcony offering an unobstructed view of the sea. Clean and comfortable with ample amenities provided. Conveniently located 10 minutes' walk away from Churaumi Aquarium and the Bise area while Emerald beach is just across from the hotel. The Orion beer Bar is a great hang out spot to chill. Dining at the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner didn't disappoint at all - we had breakfast and lunch at Sirius and dinner at Izakaya Kari. The staff at the tour desk was really helpful in answering my queries prior to arrival and arranging my 6-hour sight-seeing taxi. Also, the Yanbaru Express picks up and drops off passengers directly at the hotel entrance.

The place was gorgeous, reception and all the hotel team were very helpful and responsive to every tiny detail. Location close to Churaumi oceanarium and Ocean park was super comfortable. Breakfast was good. The beach is of 2 min walking distance. Many thanks for all the comfort and hospitality, special thanks to the team serving our room who helped to find the earring, as well as to Takenaga, service manager at the reception desk who navigated us to many beautiful areas nearby. Would be our pleasure to get back to this hotel once again:)

We had such a wonderful stay at The Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa. It’s an incredibly family-friendly hotel — the kids' play area was great, and the hands-on craft activities were a big hit with our child! The restaurants inside the hotel were excellent — every meal was delicious, and the service was truly top-notch. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing with friends over a few beers in a cozy atmosphere. The room had a perfect view — waking up to that ocean scenery was such a treat. The beach and outdoor spaces were well-maintained and very relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with kids, or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Okinawa in a calm and comfortable setting.
