“Granny’s house from Totoro”

Partly renovated Ryukyu house with a calm and quiet environment. It still has all its charms. I would also recommend it for a longer stay. The kitchen is well equipped. You can barbecue in the garden and there are fishing rods hidden in the closet. Watch movies, using a projector, while curling up on the sofa. Feels like a childhood memory. The supermarket BIG Express is about 1 km away. Also Gorilla Chop beach with its beautiful coral reefs, which is one of the best choices for beginner snorkelers. Have a nice walk to Anchi Beach on Sesoko island and enjoy the magnificent view of the turquoise waters. If you want to take a better look at the surrounding area you will need a rent-a-car. Your host will be helpful to provide you all the information you need, do not hesitate to ask. We had a really great time and hope to visit Motobu again in the future. There is so much to explore! Geckos and ryukyu flying foxes are quite active in the garden so if you do not love the wildlife near to you this house is not your choice. We loved it however!
