“Had 0 expectations, but they were exceeded in all ways possible!”
The view is amazing, the location is as central as it gets, the staff don’t really speak english but with a little patience and google translate you really make it work, they are amazing people. And the beds are pretty comfortable, sheets are changed everyday and the rooms are really clean. The breakfast is also really nice 10/10!

“Not value for money for what we paid. If priced at a hostel price, this would have been fine.”
I paid a substantial amount of money for my stay - more than a 3* hotel with a small pool (we had stayed in said hotel for the previous 2 nights). This is a hostel with some private basic rooms. The shower gives electric shocks, the room was not the most clean (not cleaned each day), the fridge did not work properly and there was not enough toilet paper. Breakfast was passable and the photos on Booking are particularly attractive but the reality is different. This pousada would be fine for a sensible amount of money- not the price we paid - over £100 per night....

“One of the best accommodations. Superb view, good breakfast, nice people.”
Breakfast is absolutely amazing. So is the staff and the owner. Very nice and accommodating. I could check in slightly earlier and check out an hour later without any problems. The owner went to buy a plug adapter to fit my laptop charger and he didn't want to charge any money for it. There is a filter for water in case you want to refill your bottle, accessible at any time. If you want to talk, everyone there is very helpful, honest and talkative. If you want privacy, they don't bother at all. The view is absolutely amazing.
