Lovely surroundings, beautiful main house and surrounding houses that seemed very well kept and nicely built and decorated. The castle is very close to James Turrell art installation Skyspace in Ytterjärna.

“Beautiful location, very basic hotel.”
The staff are wonderful, and as I arrived by bicycle (which I think rarely happens at this hotel), they were very kind in letting me park the bike inside. The grounds are beautiful as well, and I enjoyed the sauna/swim in the Baltic and the robo mower that criss-crosses the lawns like a manic turtle. Also the idea of having binoculars rather than a TV is very good. I did see egrets.
