Overview
Situated in a nature reserve outside the Hessian town of Mörfelden, close to Frankfurt, this historic hotel is a restored hunting lodge with millhouse dating back to the 17th century. The family-run Jagdschloss Mönchbruch offers a comfortable ambience and a sense of country flair. Stay in the cosy rooms in both the lodge and millhouse, which are warmly decorated with wooden furnishings. Dine in the hotel restaurant, Mönchbruch Mühle, which serves fresh, seasonal gourmet cuisine. Relax in the cosy Müllerstube (lounge). In summer you can enjoy a refreshing drink and traditional dishes on the terrace or under the shade of trees in the beer garden. The Jagdschloss Mönchbruch is an elegant base for people travelling throughout the Rhine-Main region. From here you can easily get to Mainz and Wiesbaden. The city of Frankfurt, with its shopping areas, banking district, trade fair centre and international airport, can easily be reached by bus. A bus stop is located directly outside the hotel. Guests staying in the Jagdschloss can park for free on site.

Nice location surrounded by nature, yet only a 15 min drive to the airport in the morning. Good breakfast. Would stay here again if flying out of Frankfurt, but stay an extra day to actually explore the surroundings.

“What a lovely experience.”
We stayed in the Standesamt which was beautiful and surprisingly cool despite the 37°C outside. The rooms were huge, the bathroom well appointed and everything spotless. Outside - across the road at the mill there is a wonderful beer garden with towering trees that provide shade. Idyllic location. Parking was free. Another plus was the modest pricing. We would definitely stay there again.

Good parking, spacious room, relatively good breakfast. Affordable price. Convenient beds, 2 kids could slip in a bunk bed.

“Great historical accommodation close to Frankfurt Airport”
The hunting lodge was built in the late 1690's and was a great experience to be in this accommodation. Both the restaurant on site and the breakfast were good. I was fortunate to have a private bathroom as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Stay in style in a rather noisy historical and nature setting”
The hotel is in three buildings that remain from an old hunting castle that dates back to the 17th century and is located in a nature zone, close to the airport of Frankfurt. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the WIFI is good. The old mill on the other side of the street has a beer garden with good food, and the breakfast was excellent.

“A 200+ year old hunting lodge in the middle of beautiful woods with a great welcome”
The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful. We were there for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The breakfast is served from 0700h to 1130h and is very good. The staff could not be lovelier
