“Fabulous Stay along the Banks of the Loire with a Wonderful Hostess”
What a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I were cycling between Saumur and Tours, and were lucky enough to have booked here. The hostess was amazing, great sense of humour, and a super breakfast. Room was lovely with great personal touches. Definitely recommend.

Marie was so lovely and met us at the door when we arrived. The property is beautiful, and we had a lovely spacious comfy ensuite room. Marie served a lovely breakfast of bread and pastries in the morning. We also got to meet her sweet dog :) Would definitely recommend staying here in the stunning village of Montsoreau. Do a walk around the village (and neighbouring Candes St Martin) as it’s very beautiful. Also would recommend eating at Le Montsorelli which is a 3 min walk from the property. Great food and service!

The breakfast was excellent and the location was great (quite literally opposite the Loire River which was 20m away) and parking was easy - right across the road and next to the river. The town (actually large, medieval village, set on the hillside overlooking the Loire River) is just beautiful.

We received a very warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and we had a good breakfast. The location is excellent; next to la Loire and ideal for travelling to nearby historic sites, the fortress at Chinon for example. We would stay again . Highly recommended.

“Great stopover.”
The host was lovely and attentive. Location couldn’t be closer to to river. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely in the main dining area. The local area is quiet and a short walk to a wine shop and cafe/bar.
