“A charming gite in a magical spot.”
Veronique was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was exceptional, the view over the Loire sublime. There were all the comforts of home plus, being a troglodyte dwelling, the gite itself was very unusual and a real pleasure to stay in. On a hot day it stayed cool inside and for a chilly evening there was a cosy woodburner. There are a lot of great places to visit nearby and excellent restaurants within easy reach.

“My wife and I enjoyed the experience of living in a troglodyte cave despite the access problem.”
The property has fantastic views and is very comfortable for those who are fit and love an adventure living in a cave. Plenty of hot water in the shower and the property is well equipped.

“Fantastic experience, amazing view!”
We have had a fantastic experience! Veronique is a great host. She has made herself very available. We have been blown away by the view while enjoying great wine tasting and sunset. Lots of activities such as eine tasting, restaurants and the castle of Montsoreau at a walking distance if you like to walk. Living the troglodytes experience was awesome too. Perfect stay, we will come back there!
