“Good enough for an overnight stay, thanks in part to the friendly lady behind the counter”
A bit sketchy in the evening, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. We had a nice small breakfast, and a friendly hostess at the reception desk.

The room was very dated and not at all what is pictured on website. The carpet smells of mildew. The room rate was too high for that room.

“Absolute nightmare”
The lights in the room didn’t work, no electricity. All the towels in the room were dirty and thrown on the floor under the sink. The floor was full of dirt and white powder and looked like it hadn’t ever been vacuumed. We requested our money back and went and stayed somewhere else. Worst hotel experience I have ever had! I wouldn’t stay here if it was free!

“They deserve a better rating than what they have.”
These guys deserve a better rating than what's reflected. We were 2 couples and both had great rooms with no complaints. We had the 2 x queen size beds and the room was massive. AC and fridge and coffee nook. Even a dressing room next to the bathroom and for the first time too many rails and hooks to hang towels and jackets on. Very friendly service at the front desk. Good value considering the season and what neighboring establishments of similar star rating are charging.

“A passable location with plus points but overall rather disappointing”
The location was good for Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom light fixtures were quaint.

The staff were so helpful, They were courteous, and kind. We met different staff on Saturday and Sunday. All were equally helpful. Ahhh finally I've got a blue mark in my gauge below this box and I can stop!!
