“Cosy lodge, incredible food, best ski resort”

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Fat Fox Lodge. Tess and Joe were warm, friendly and helpful and comms were excellent throughout. The lodge is cosy and beautifully decorated with a fab selection of books and a cute little sauna trailer which we made use of everyday. Breakfast, post-ski snacks and home made dinner were all top notch, we ate so well.

We loved Tessa and Joe - warm, knowledgeable and generous. Their home cooked food is insanely good (think creative plant based flavours) and the beautiful lodge is full of interesting people! You’re within easy reach of Morzine and Avoriaz. You won’t want to leave.

🌟 5-Star Stay! 🌟 We had an absolutely perfect stay at this chalet! Everything was amazing: the staff were top-notch, friendly and welcoming. The chalet itself was super cozy, beautifully decorated, and the bed… unbelievably comfortable — like sleeping on a cloud! Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, the perfect way to start the day. A huge thank-you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Super chalet and Tess and Joe are very pleasant hosts. Will choose The Red Fox again if I am in the Morzine area. Bike wash possibilities are a bonus. Tess did a clothes wash for me after I fell in a massive muddy puddle 😬

Yummy breakfast, offer of sandwiches for lunch. Yoga room to use, very comfortable beds, use of kitchen, like a home away from home. Great for mountain biking, hiking, swims in lac Montriond. This was our favourite accommodation of our 3 months in Europe. The hosts are amazingly kind & really do think of everything. We LOVE this place & will definitely come back.

Very stylish, yet traditional alpine chalet style accommodation. Great facilities, outstanding welcome and hospitality and a fantastic breakfast. The team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and allowed me to make use of the chalet’s facilities even after check out time.

The whole experience was really top notch. I can safely say for a couple who have traveled the world over the last 40 plus years, the Fat Fox and surroundings rate top three. From Tess and Joes honest friendly characters, breakfast orange juice shot, beautiful bathroom, wonderfully interior designed bedroom and the immediate location. I defy any current, future or past guests to prove us wrong. The Fat Fox is a must!! Helen & Jim. Chippenham England.

The lodge has a lovely comfortable and homely feel to it throughout. A lot of attention was paid to the decor. Tessa and Joe were super helpful with great suggestions of what to do throughout the area. Their communication was great and breakfast was delicious!
