“Peaceful, friendly and welcoming. A wonderful stay. I would love to return”

Our stay was lovely. I travelled with my Daughter, for her 21st birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly owners and shown around. Unfortunately my French is very basic and they didn't have much English so our communication was minimal! We used google translate and gestures and guessing! The room was beautiful as were the surroundings. We had a wonderful home cooked meal there, really delicious French cuisine and then breakfast the next day was equally lovely. They do not have a card machine so cash is needed to pay for any extras. I had to visit a nearby cash point. We had our own car which was best as this wonderful place is located about 10/15 mins away from any shops or town. It was very tranquil. Sadly we weren't there in time to use the pool, although it looked lovely and the weather wasn't great.

Location was great. Breakfast basic and we noticed that the French family were offered ham and cheese but we were not. No milk with tea or breakfast cereal either!

Wonderful food. home made. owner is a profesionnal cook. make sure you ring to book diner wiht them. the night meal was exceptional. cooked with great love and passion for cooking. better than most french restaurants i have been to, and better price. the room was perfect the shower was excellent and the grounds lovely. they are preparing for a pool next year. both hosts did anything to assure our comfort and were very smily. an excellent guest house.
