A beautifully appointed home tastefully furnished with real flair. Pretty garden with troglodyte caves. Nothing was too much trouble for Natalie including booking local restaurants and suggesting local places of interest, Our room had a separate but secure entrance. Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed. Delicious home=made breakfast including Natalie's home-made specialities.

“A great base to explore the town”
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful 15th century building. Nathalie was the kindest host with lots of advice. We are cycling in a heatwave so the pool felt wonderful. The room was fairly cool, clean and the bed super comfy. The town itself was beautiful with an impressive castle, but most of the restaurants were closed including the one Nathalie recommended. However we found the hotel Splendid which was open and served a delicious 3 course supper in the courtyard. It’s a great base to explore the town.

Beautiful home made muffins for breakfast, lovely heated swimming pool and a warm welcome from the owner, Nathalie. Highly recommended as is the restaurant ‘L’Auberge des Isles’, right beside the river.

“A convenient place to stay”
We didn’t have breakfast, as we were visiting friends who lived locally we ate with them, quite often we were late in and not hungry enough for breakfast, we were provided with a kettle, tea bags, and powdered milk. We were only offered a breakfast for our room on the last day.

A beautiful home into which we were warmly welcomed by Nathalie. A sumptuous house, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A very good continental breakfast was provided including Natalie's delicious homemade jams. Thoroughly recommend.

“Lovely small city, lovely house and a lovely host.”
Montreuil Bellay is a beautiful small picturesque town. The building is a charming house form 16th century ideally located (10mns walk from the city centre). Our bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of room. The owner Nathalie is welcoming, very attentive and always trying to help. The continental breakfast is very pleasant with homemade delights (jams, madeleines, pancakes, yogurts and pudding rice).

The breakfast was excellent and our friendly host adapted to our northern taste as I may not eat sweets. The heated pool was great and the garden very beautiful, with deck chairs. A short walking distance from the centre of Montreuil-Bellay

“A great overnight stay and a lovely host.”
We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly owner Nathalie. Our bedroom had plenty of room and we made use of her pool and secluded garden where we sat out with our takeaway supper. Breakfast was very good indeed and we were presented with perfectly cooked pancakes. All in all a great overnight stay and we would certainly recommend Nathalie's place.

Charming 16th century building with great character and warmth. Very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and a lovely back garden to relax, nap or take a leisurely swim in the adjacent pool. Generous breakfast offerings with delicious homemade jams, freshly baked madeleines and pancakes.
