Overview
In the heart of the medieval city, looking onto the Cher River and 700 metres from the Athanor Convention Centre, the hotel boasts a privileged location to enjoy a relaxing leisure stay or successful business trip. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms, including 4 rooms with easy access for the disabled. A buffet breakfast composed of sweet and savoury dishes such as eggs, fruit salad, yogurts and juices is served every day. Pastries baked on site and gluten-free Madeleine cakes are available, as well as a hot beverage and a piece of fruit to take away. Outside of regular breakfast hours guests can also enjoy a lighter option, available from 04:00. Guests can enjoy snacks in the comfort of their room and at an extra cost. There are 2 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 60 people. Free WiFi access is available at this property. Château des Ducs de Bourbons, Chambérat’s cheese cellars and Saint-Pourçain’s wine cellars are in the near vicinity, while the Centre Aqualudique water park is a 12-minute drive away.

Simple but comfortable, clean and very practical- excellent value for money. Good mattress and pillow. Modern bathroom and shower, nice water pressure. Very nice staff. Missed nothing!

The hotel is very good value for money. Not luxurious but that was not expected or sold. Clean, comfortable and offers the basics. Excellent for short stay. Good breakfast, friendly & efficient staff.

“Ok for a short stop in Montlucon”
Nice room, close to the center of Montlucon. Breakfast is ok. The room looks like ibis, and indeed I discovered later this has indeed been an ibis hotel before. Simple but relatively low-cost.

Sandra was so helpful when my husband had a problem with the tyres on our rental van. She translated to the recovery gentleman, and was so nice to our disabled son. She went above and beyond. All the staff are lovely at this hotel. Thank you very much to the staff. It has a brilliant location with a bar, 2 restaurants, a little supermarket and a McDonald's all within a few minutes walk. It is literally off the main routes, and has secure parking. It's a great stop over for us going home to Quillan. And, they allow dogs for a small fee.

Late arrival at 21h30 so no more staff. Had an issue with getting in to the property. You should have staff at the hotel even after hours. Insufficient parking.
