“Beautiful but didn’t suit us. Too quiet”
Lovely castle with beautifully decorated rooms. Far too quiet for us tho. No tv. No drinks in rooms. Breakfast was very poor. We booked for 4 nights aiming to tour the area but we left after two and went to the coast.

“Enjoyable but not up to (perhaps) romantic memories.”
We first visited the Chateau 25 years ago during a touring holiday with our then kids. All of us remember the holiday, and the stay at Puy Robert. When driving thru France in September this year my wife and I thought that it would be nice to re-visit the chateau. We were alone in the hotel albeit out of season (just…Sept 9th) and the sole member of staff did her best to make us feel welcome with, for example, the breakfast buffet set for a full house. It was nice to see the place again albeit not the quality experience we had before. Very quiet and dated. (No charges for sheets, towels or parking tho ;))

The house and surrounding location is beautiful! The pool is clean and well maintained although small for the number of guests. It is close to a beautiful french village. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

“Lovely stay close to Lascaux IV”
Beautiful place, superbly located, Lascaux IV is a short walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was luminous, spacious and clean. The woodland surrounding the chateau means it is very tranquil at night. Great stay!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment, and equipment, is a bit old, but everything works fine and adds to the atmosphere. Who wants to stay in a Chateau where everything is new and modern? That would take away from the experience, in my opinion. Location is fantastic! The whole place is great. We had a great visit and will hopefully return some day. Pool is nice.
