“A nice and well equipped apartment overlooking the slopes, with basic shops close by.”

Picking up the keys from the hotel was easy, staff was friendly and it was done quickly, with the required explanations given. We could access the slopes (TC Chalvet) from the side of the apartment and the storage locker was heated which allowed the shoes to dry overnight. It was nice to finish the day at the pool/sauna/ jacuzzi (in the next door building, just a few metres away up the road...but we still went in using the bathrobes as jackets!). 3 of the 4 bedrooms have a good size and nice views (2 doubles, 2 twins) and the beds were comfy. It was great that it was equipped for 8 people with nobody having to sleep in the living room. The floor heating means the temperature is nicely even everywhere in the apartment, we liked that too! The kitchen has sufficient large pots and pans (non-stick) to cook, as well as a tart and gratin dish and also an electric raclette/pierrade as well as a fondue set. Coffee lovers enjoyed having the choice of the filter coffee machine or the Nespresso capsules. The dishwasher is very quiet; the fridge is big which meant we could easily store what we had bought in Briancon before arriving. There is a great view on the slopes from the large balcony in the living room and one bedroom, and the other side also has nice views over the Italian side. The apartment is nicely decorated and feels homely. The garage is large once you've gone through the door, which is handy if you want to store stuff there as you can lock it. And what is best is that you can go straight in the lift from there... not getting rain/snow while (un)loading the car.

The location was great. Near the ski school meet point, easy access to slopes, near supermarket/ restaurant/ ski hire. It was generally clean and well enough equipped to make easy meals. Nice balcony.
