Quiet away from town but yet really close to beach.

It's really near the center and the pool with jungle view is amazing. The breakfast is big and delicious. The bed was comfortable.

Highy recommeded, everything was exceptionnel !!

Very friendly staff, the pool was great to coole down in the afternoon, everything was clean and well organized.

Close to nature. We had howler monkeys right outside our house and capochino monkeys on visit another day. Fantastic place and very helpful staff. Very nice pool that feels bigger than in the pictures. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. My favorite place in my 3 weeks in Costa Rica.

I loved staying at luz en el cielo! i had a wonderful bungalow that felt as if it was floating up in the trees. i saw the sea and a bunch of curious monkeys from my bacony. the hostel had such a friendly vibe and a wonderful team, it felt like a home away from home. the village was cute and the surroundings beautiful. i prolonged my stay and would have wished to stay even longer.

I just love this place. Cabina Mar has a beautiful view, so it’s definitely worth the walk up 🙂 It’s perfectly clean and comfortable, you can even shower while watching the jungle, and I loved the balcony - it felt just like a treehouse. The typical Costa Rican breakfast is so good! Also, don’t miss empanadas and margaritas by the pool, and special thanks to the amable waitress for being nice and helpfull 🌺

“We really enjoyed our stay!”

The pool area is very nice and a good breakfast with fresh fruits, rice and beans and scrambled eggs was included. Our room was located a bit higher than the rest and we had a lovely view on the trees and even saw some monkeys. The center of the village and the beach can be reached easily with a 5-min walk. Johnny was very helpful, giving us some tips on what to do in the area and supporting us with booking transportation.

Super friendly staff and the hostel is in the middle of wonderful nature.

Great place to chill after the hustle and bustle of other parts of CR. Nothing was a problem for Yoni or Ana, including using a washing machine and a very early breakfast on departure day. We had a cabana which was awesome with monkeys right out our window. Would have stayed longer if we didn’t have flights booked.

What a beautiful stay! The location is perfect, close to the restaurants/supermarkets/beach, kind and helpful owners, everything is clean, good kitchen with all the equipment you need. Will definitely come back!

Awesome hostel!! It was a perfect location inside the forest but close to the beach. I didn't expect the hostel being so good but now I wish I could habe stayed longer. Its a perfect atmosphere, pefect with the pool to cool off and a great breakfast.

Let yoni know that I had some bites on my legs. As it turns out they are bed bugs bites. Please check beds and mattress and bed frame. Had a nurse look at them. Lots of stairs for someone with mobility issues.

Location, rooms, common areas, extremely kind and helpful staff.

Nice hostel in Montezuma with a great outside area including a pool! It’s just up a small hill from the city center. The rooms are nice, everything was clean and the staff really friendly. Spacious kitchen available. The included breakfast was really good too (bread, coffee/tea, eggs, gallo pinto, fruits). There‘s a small bar on the area that offers food and cold drinks by the pool. I enjoyed my stay there especially the pool!
