Great location, slightly on the edge of Monteverde in very nice grounds. Rooms are wooden, walls a bit thin, but otherwise good comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet. Free parking was a bonus.

It's absolutely adorable place. Lovesld our room. Clean, well kept and the gardens were beautiful.

Well located with several restaurants within walking distance. King size room good size. Doubles look cramped. Gardens beautifully kept. Nice sitting areas for guests. Breakfast good. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

“Lovely place to stay to visit the cloud forests”

We stayed here for three nights and had a lovely time. In particular, Jenni who checked us in was amazing helping us with our room and issues with the car hire. The room was lovely, spacious and clean, breakfast was included and the location close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Beautiful gardens.

“Friendly staff, good breakfast, great value”

It's a great place to stay, but request a room away from the restaurant. They play loud music from 6am until 10pm and you can hear people's dinner conversations when they are sitting near the fountain. The staff are amazing. I left my credit card in the supermarket and one of the staff sorted it all out for me. I'm annoyed I didn't get her name. She was a pregnant lady anyway.

Breakfast at the hotel is good. A buffet style selection with plenty of choice. The hotel is situated in a good position for many of the activities.

New Years Eve they closed the bar so we could not ring in the new yaer with a drink

The rooms were clean and spacious. So welcoming, with wine and an elegant snack in each room. The grounds were amazing, where we could enjoy dozens of bird species right outside our door. The staff was very friendly. One of the groundskeepers even directed me to a tree around the corner from where I was sitting with my zoom lens, which was extremely active with motmots and more. Every staff member greeted me as they worked. Such a lovely place! It was easy to schedule tour activities and to explore the town from this location.

“Nice stay in a beautiful lodge with friendly staff.”

It is a lovely place in the mountains. The rooms were spacious and there was a playground for the kids. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and things stayed wet. They do offer a drying service bit we did not use it. Also there was a lobby area which was nice to use for playing games and drawing with the kids. The front desk was very helpful with booking a nightwalk on short notice.

Great breakfast, helpful staff and simple clean rooms with an excellent shower in the bathroom. We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms (2 single beds, 1 double) and a small living area which worked well for our family. Our kids loved the outdoor play area and gardens - we saw lots of butterflies and even a Hummingbird.

Spacious room, well located and close to other restaurants so you don't have to eat at the hotel. Easy parking and very friendly staff. Not far to both cloud forests which frankly are the reason you are in Monteverde to start with. But you do need a car to get to them.
