Perfect location, lovely hosts, and a playground for the kids. This is very budget-friendly accommodation for those who enjoy a more natural, rustic setting. The host provides coffee, salt, pepper, and other basics, which is very convenient, and the plate of fruit evwry was a really nice touch.

We stayed here 5 days. This place is all about the view. You are perched on the very brim of a huge forested gorge. You can watch the raptors circling on the thermals and the clouds rolling over the hills opposite. Also Sofia is really friendly and gave us free fruit for breakfast any day we were not out.

We had a wonderful stay with Lidia and Sofia. The apartment was beautiful and decorated with great attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. The playground was a real highlight for our daughter, while we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the amazing scenery. What made our stay truly special, however, was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. Every morning, they brought us fresh fruit – such a thoughtful and generous gesture. We would absolutely love to come back!

The stay at Lidia’s Mountain View exceeded our expectations. For example the warm welcome by Sofia. The lovely hostesses Lidia and Sofia (mother and daughter). Furthermore, the surroundings/location and the apartment itself. I would definitely recommend this accommodation in Monteverde.

Maybe our best accomodation in Costa Rica even if it was not fancy. You‘ve got a very nice view and the apartment has got everything you need. Sofia is super helpful with laundry and organizing your stay. She has good recommendations for places to go, tours and restaurants. Also we go fresh fruits every morning. We 100% recommend to come here.

“Delightful Sofia”

Sofia was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Location was great but you are a bit of a walk from the main street of town. We walked to restaurants and grocery store though with no issues.

Amazing views, with a spacious home with everything we needed. The hosts were so lovely and we loved the fresh fruit each morning!

Simple accomodations near town. Unexpected steep little hill to get to property may not be suitable for all vehicles. Room was basic but as advertised and had all amenities we required - kitchen, wifi, table and chairs. Host was nearby, accessible and friendly. Fruit plate was in morning was an unexpected surprise.

The location is amazing, and staff as well, they offered us, fresh fruit twice. The flat is really big. With a view and garden outside. Monteverde is my favourite place soo far in costa rica. Pura Vida

Flat was large and spacious with excellent view over the mountains and cloud forests. next to a park which the kids loved. Sofia super friendly and helpful, brought bowl of fruit every morning which was a nice extra and we really appreciated the laundry service. instructions/welcome page very useful with good recomendations. supermarket 5 mins walk away

Close to town, really nice taco restaurant 50 metres way. Delicious fruit in the morning and really helpful with recommendations and travel arrangements.
