This place is absolutely amazing! We loved everything , but mainly the hosts. It’s a family business - and you feel it when you’re there! All very nice , happy to help and have a chat. Location and the rooms are beautiful! Must visit spot

“Amazing place run by amazing people!”

Amazing place run by amazing people! Familly run B&B, with very helpful people - they helped us to organize the transport, show us a lot of animals and were very eager to help with recommendations. The best coffe for breakfast I had in Costa Rica:)! And the best part- the location is quite close to the centre of the town ( 15min walk) and to the main street (c.5 min) but it was like living in the jungle! To be honest you don'T have to pay for any park as all animals and birds visit their garden :) Amazing time spent on wildlife watching :)

“Idyllic stay”

Welcoming, family run place where we found attempting a little Spanish goes a long way, as family members have different language skills. Our king size room with balcony was idyllic, with beautiful surrounding views of the lush vegetation, (including from the shower!), with roving wildlife in the grounds. Good simple breakfast. Plenty of restaurants a short walk away for evening meals. Leslie arranged a guide for us to walk in one of the local reserves and Samuel was a fantastic guide. Couldn't have wished for more!

“Pura Vida in Monteverde”

Such a nice place in the middle of the bushes in Monteverde. Leslie and his family are so friendly. Couldn't be happier. We saw way more amazing animals in the 'garden' compared to the Cloud Forest Reserve. Breakfast was good, recommendations for tours aswel. Pura Vida in Monteverde!

“A shower with a view”

The room was nice, lovely big bed (we appeared to have inadvertently booked the honeymoon suite 😂) with a balcony overlooking trees. A shower with a view of the woods! Spotted an agouti in the grounds. Great local restaurant just a short walk away - Restaurante de Luisa - well priced and excellent friendly service.

“Basic, but clean and friendly.”

Our room (for two adults and one child) was basic but clean. The shower was hot! The balcony had a lovely view of the forest and we saw some great wildlife from right there. Lesley and his family were kind hosts and the breakfast was good.

We had a family room and it was plenty big enough for the four of us. The beds were really comfy and the views were unreal!

This little Casa, in the Jungle is so lovely - Family run, the family makes your breakfast. This is a basic little oasis, clean and welcoming and the wildlife moves through the property. If you want relaxed family environment with nature this is it. Save your money on an expensive hotel and stay here. Loved it!

“Simple stay in Monteverde”

The property was right in Monteverde and you had everything you need for a night for a cheap price. Grateful for the manager that managed for us the last minute booking for the night tour! Thank you!

Beautiful location, feel very secluded but easy to walk to town. We saw lots of wildlife and the owners are just lovely. Really helpful, friendly and has lots of suggestions of what to do in the area and will help you organise it. The room was a very good size with a small fridge and microwave. Lovely hot shower that looked out on the forest. We liked the communal balcony on the main building, it caught the afternoon sun and could watch the birds and monkeys from there. We also enjoyed our own balcony and it was very peaceful. Very good wifi if you need to be switched on. The breakfast included was delicious and freshly prepared. If we were ever in the area again, we’d 100% look to stay here.

Leslie is a wonderful host, he made sure that our stay was memorable. He was available to give us good advice, recommendations for visits and restaurants. The property has a few wild animals coming around so we were lucky to see some of them in trees and in the garden.

Nice and clean rooms. Perfect location for outdooractivities

Wonderful location surrounded by lush greenery — it was so peaceful to listen to the birds singing. The veranda with rocking chairs was a perfect place to relax. Several great restaurants are within walking distance. A special thank you to the staff — the administrator gave excellent recommendations on how to spend my time, and every suggestion was spot on.

What a charming hotel! In a lovely leafy spot, with plenty of birds and monkeys popping by to say hi. The staff were efficient and very friendly. The breakfast has a couple of options 'American' (egg and toast) and 'Typical' (Costa Rican) which was great. Very peaceful and quiet place to spend a few nights in Monteverde :)

Secluded in a forest, yet close to restaurants and town, the peace and quiet is interrupted only by sounds from wildlife :) we were able to see more animals here than in the park
