“Fantastic views in Monteverde”
Great location with spectacular views, five minutes walk from a few restaurants. The hotel has grounds you can do walks around. Big room with a huge bed, really comfy and good quality towels. As previously said it's a little dated but in my opinion the views make up for it and the price reflects this. Lovely breakfast and dining room has the best views.

The hotel feels a bit “tired”, but overall it’s fine. The room, bedsheets, and towels were clean, and there is safe parking on the property. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was a standard buffet. The room also had a fridge and a hair dryer.

By far the best accommodation we visited during our travels in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. A beautiful resort with fantastic views. A spacious room with a terrace. Great breakfast. And very helpful staff who willingly and proactively helped us with everything we needed (and that was a lot :-) I would definitely return to this hotel.

“Great break in a lovely hotel”
Lovely spacious room, amazing view over gulf of Nicoya from our room. Grounds are very pretty and there is a little nature walk. Hotel is close to Monteverdi if you don’t mind walking up and down hills and also near the cloud forest. The reception staff were really helpful

Location, sunsets, large rooms ,comfy beds, views. Staff so helpful , good English and gave great suggestions for best things to do , organised everything including shuttles , all for best prices. Very good value .

“great lodging and property, but plan to eat elsewhere”
The view is stunning and rooms comfortable, though modest. Main lobby has lots of seating and a library reading corner. As a birdwatcher, I appreciated the forest trail, hummingbird feeders and birds on site.

It is an great hotel to stay in Monteverde, we have stayed in other hotel night before which can was 3 times more expensive and not as nice as this hotel. Great value of money and good location.

“Amazing”
Everything was awesome. Me and my husband are super satisfied. Breakfasts are delicious. Personnel is very attentive, kind and welcoming. Super clean accommodation and just simply nice.
