“Amazing rural stay in tropical forest”

Amazing staff, we have received a warm will come and they were making sure that we are not missing anything. Breakfast served directly in your room. And every evening we have received a herbal tea as soon as we came back to the Accomodation.

“Very enjoyable stay in a lovely cabin backing on to the woods.”

This is a beautiful little cabin, backing on to the woods. It was a little hard to find. When you pull down the gravel track its the first on the left. I think it just has a number 3 on the sign and would benefit from the name of the place, but I sent a message to the owner saying we were struggling to find it and he came out immediately. The family there is very hospitable and can't do enough. They were lovely people. There was a little bit of a language barrier as our Spanish isn't very good but we managed perfectly well. The host came around each evening with a herbal tea that was very nice and we arranged what time we wanted breakfast each morning which was delicious. The cabin is very nice inside and has been well thought out and there is a large fridge for items. We would stay here again.

This accomodation is just amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the hosts with herbal tea and it immediatley felt like home. Also the casita has everything you need und was very clean. It is very central and Mayco helped us with booking the beautiful tours around this area. We would recommend everyone to stay at this accomodation when visiting Monteverde!

Beautiful rooms to relax! The host was there to extend a warm welcome and provide useful info about the area & activities. The room was super clean and spacious and the breakfast that was served in our balcony was super good. Highly recommended!

This stay was exceptionally good. Marcelo was already waiting for us upon arrival and had a big smile on his face. Marcelo and his wife came right away to bring us a cold juice. The stay was beyond expectation well furnished and very clean. We found Marcelo to be one of the best B&B owners we have had. We definitely recommend this accommodation! The breakfast was also delicious!

Marcelo and Gloria made this stay amazing! Breakfast was always prompt and delicious and we agreed the timings each day depending on our schedule which was great. We received herbal tea before bed and some little treats. The bed was really comfortable, the locations was tranquil and the whole place was really clean.

The hosts were so welcoming and kind. They dropped us down tea in the evening and made the most amazing breakfast. The space was so peaceful. It was a perfect time.

The cabin is beautiful. It is spacious and immaculate and Manuel and his wife are the most lovely hosts. They couldn’t have done anything more to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They went out of their way to make sure we had the best time.

The interior was well designed and there’s plenty of space for two. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Marcelo and Gloria were amazing hosts, bringing a tasty breakfast to our casita every morning and tea in the evenings. The location was excellent, quiet and private but close to gas station, grocery store and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. Mayko was also very nice and helpful with the check-in.

“The best place to stay in Monteverde”

We loved everything about our stay. Marcelo and Gloria are the most wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They took great care and attention to ensure we had the best stay and provided recommendations for what to do in Monteverde. We were sad to leave as we truly had such a lovely stay here and it was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. The casita is beautifully made and even more impressive is that Marcelo and his brother made it themselves. The facilities are great with a working kitchen if you want to cook and is spacious inside. Outside we enjoyed having a delicious breakfast each morning surrounded by nature. It is located conveniently next to a supermarket and petrol station and only 5 minutes drive from town. Thank you so much!

Lovely place, location and people. Incredible breakfast. Easy to book activities with them like night tours. Views from the bed are amazing.

This place absolutely exceeded our expectations as every detail is perfect. Our host Marcelo and his wife Gloria are very charming and warming. They treated us like family! The breakfast was super delicious, with fresh fruit and homemade special scramble eggs. Villa is warm and nicely located in the magical rainforest of Monteverde region, and the garden view (porch view) is amazing!!! It’s our honor and privilege to stay in this accommodation and I definitely recommend it to everyone! <3

“Super genuine and an amazing place to stay”

The place is managed by the most genuine couple we have ever met. They are amazing. There are only two casitas in total, and breakfast is served every morning on the porch at your convenience. The distances in Monteverde is quite short, so it’s just a short drive to different reserves and attractions. Moreover, a short walk to Santa Elena if you want to grab some food and drinks during the evenings.

The owners were lovely, the Cardenas were gorgeous, room for parking, and the breakfast was fantastic! Mayco was very helpful in providing information for our stay! Highly revoked this place!

Everything was perfect. Marcelo and his wife, who run the place, were amazingly friendly, helpful and generous. We adored staying in this lovely place, the breakfast was fantastic and copious, fresh and local. Marcelo's basil tea is unusual and refreshing. He brings it several times a day. Multitude of hiking trails and adventure parks, never boring. This was a highlight of our holiday tour
