“Spacious cabin with friendly, helpful owner and lovely views”

This is a great location surrounded by nature, quiet and peaceful yet only a few minutes drive from the facilities of Santa Elena and the beautiful attractions of Monteverde. There are three cabins here, but you have a fair amount of privacy within your own accommodation. The cabin has a lovely view looking west towards the Bay of Nicoya, although for us the view was often obstructed by the parked cars of the other cabins. Our host Xinia was very friendly and helpful, and our communication via WhatsApp with her English speaking son Emanuel at all times was excellent.

“Beautiful relaxing spot in nature with exceptional view”

Beautiful spot with an exceptional view. The house is well furnished. We were warmly welcomed by the family and they explained us the different spots around the town. The house is in nature and not too far from everything. Owner was really responsive when we had questions. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, so ideally have a 4x4 to get there.

Very lovely place with nice people who are always very helpfull. Love their recommendations on what to do! Kids loved the place and we had a lot of fun in the surroundings.

“Beautiful, tranquil property”

Gem of a property just outside of the main town. The location is so beautiful with great views. It is so tranquil. Lovely large, clean apartment. The kitchen was really well stocked with pans, cutlery and crockery. There was even cooking oil, coffee, pepper etc which is essential for self catering. We saw so many birds in the garden and an agouti. The hostess was very attentive and checked we had everything. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay when visiting Monteverde.

The location with the magnificent panorama and all kinds of birds, the space and completeness of the house and the sympathetic and warmhearted owner Xinia. Without doubt you will enjoy your stay.

Great, peaceful location. In the countryside, plenty of visitors in the garden, white faced monkeys, Coitis, Aguiti and plenty of birds. Well equipped place, like your own home , lovely friendly and helpful host, Xinia. Would definitely recommend. Mark and Dawn

The owners went above their way to make the stay memorable. They were incredibly welcoming and we could feel it all throughout the stay. It reminded me of what Airbnb was originally supposed to be. There's also tons of animals around, birds, monkeys, agoutis...It is just one of many add one that booking doesn't have a category for

“A lovely stay in nature”

Xinia and Gilbert welcomed us very warmly, showed us around the house and garden, and Emanuel arranged several special adventures for us in the amazingly beautiful area. Our stay at their lovely place exceeded all expectations. It’s a true treasure which we sincerely highly recommend and hope to revisit in the future.

“Feel good experience, beautiful location”

What a beautiful place did the friendly owners create for their guests. Marvelous views, just outside of the cloud area, and still very much the feeling of nature. We saw lots of nice birds (actually more than in the National Park) and we were also lucky to have spotted a coyote. We received a very warm welcome by Xinia, who showed us proudly her nice garden with fruits and vegetables. Together with Gilbert we also experienced 'squeezing' some sugar canes and drinking the juice. The house is spatious, light and comfortable. We especially appreciated the level of completeness of the kitchen equipment. If you like to prepare some nice home meals, than this is the place to be as well. All in all very thankful to have had this genuine 'feel good' experience for the three nights that we stayed in Monteverde.

“Amazing hospitality in Monte Verde.”

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Campo Azul. Xinia the amazing owner showed us the differnet crops that they grow around the house and we tasted coffee fruits and sugar cane. We prepared our breakfasts and dinners and enjoyed the tranquility and the views to Nicoya Bay and the ocean.

“Beautiful stay!”

This house is beautiful, amazing view in a really good location- not to far from town but far enough so you get the peace and quiet. This family also makes sure you have everything you need, Emanuel booked a few tours for us and even helped us order a home made cake for our sons four year old birthday! Xinia was also super sweet, brought our son a birthday present - gave us fresh fruit and showed us around the garden. The house was well equipped and wi-fi good. Highly reccomended!

Amazing place, very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Great view! Emanuel, the host, has been very kind and helpful. The place is not very central but worth to stay there! Private park, garden and full furnished kitchen. We cooked at home twice and nothing was missing.Absolutely recommended!
