“Peaceful isolation within reach of town”

Just outside of the town but felt within the forest were individual villas with plenty of space around to feel isolated. Very peacful apart from the sounds of the birds and other creatures. Villa was well equipped and comfortable, we had a minor issue but that was resolved asap by the friendly helpful staff.

Loved our stay in Cabañas La Pradera, The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely, there were some nice walks and the maze was fun. Views were amazing, lots of bird life to spot. The food and service at the onsite was excellent.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful with washing our clothes, booking tours and showing us where the sloth was. The on-site restaurant was excellent with a good choice of vegetarian dishes.

Everything about this stay was excellent. We had a bungalow with all the necessary amenities, and even though there is no air conditioning, it is absolutely not needed here as it cools down nicely in the evenings and mornings. The windows can be opened and have mosquito screens, which makes it very comfortable. The place is kept very clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful with booking activities and answering any questions. Truly a great stay.

“Wish I could have stayed longer”

Beautiful setting, each lodge has its own private space and there’s so much wildlife to see just sat on the patio. The lodge is large, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is very friendly and helpful.

We spent a night at Cabanas La Pradera in beautiful Monteverde. Everyone on site was very helpful and kind. The location was relatively close to beautiful vistas with easy access to our tours. The property was lovely with gardens, a couple of flowering trees, and a hiking trail. Our villa was well equipped with a fridge, stove, and microwave. Our hot shower ran out after one or two people finished their showers. The paid breakfast was not great, but convenient for an early start to the day. Overall a great stay! Would definitely recommend.

The location is absolutely astonishing. All cabins are situated far away from each, and it looks like you live alone in the forest.

The cabins are located on a beautiful plot of land with paths on it where we had several good animal encounters. Motmots, coati, agouti, morpho (blue butterfly) etc. There are also some coffee plants and sugarcane and a maze. It’s peaceful and enjoyable to walk around. Cabin was fine and the lady host very friendly and helpful.

Very kind people

Staff very kind and usefull to find good restaurant and reserve tours. Their site is so beautyfull with vegetation everywhere.

Very nice place! Nice hiking within the facility! The pool is amazing. They have plantations in the facility ( plantain, coffee ) . And the host was super nice. Downtown monteverde is only 3min away driving. Or you could walk for about 20-30min. Nice walk and nice views.

Very big and nice cabin. Really loved how it is a little bit outside the city so it was so quiet and peaceful.
