The rooms are spacious and are built around a courtyard which is really pretty. The location of the hotel is perfect and with great free parking. The breakfast was great and exceeded our expectations for a 'free' breakfast. Staff were super helpful, especially on check-in; recommendation for the evening meal was perfect! Great value for money

Great stay: the hotel is in a great location, very confortable large room, very clean and with a convenient large parking on site. Free coffee available 24/7 in the lobby - we really welcomed and appreciated this.

“Noisiest hotel ever”
Location was ok, if you don’t mind having a window that is at road level, a metal gate crashing open at all hours, and the community bins being emptied at 3am.

“Amazing hotel in the centre of Monterey.”
This is a brilliant hotel right in the middle of Monterey. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast great. The design of the hotel is quirky and historic which we loved. The family room (2 doubles and a sofa bed) was large and a good space for a family of 4. We opted to put the kids on the large sofa bed and to have a small double bed each as these beds would have been cosy for 2 adults (just a heads up!). It’s easy to walk to all the key areas in town and is near lots of great restaurants and attractions. Our kids were delighted to see sea otters just steps away from the hotel. The free parking is also great. We loved our stay here and felt it was great value for money!
