Overview
Set just 10 minutes’ walk from Montepulciano’s historic centre, Il Rondò offers personalised service, a bar, and free garage parking. Rooms offer free WiFi and some overlook the lovely gardens. Beautifully decorated and containing antique furniture, interiors at Il Rondò maintain an 18th-century Tuscan charm. Each room offers air conditioning and satellite TV. A buffet breakfast with local products is included daily and can be served in the garden. Guests staying 4 nights or longer receive a complimentary bottle of red Montepulciano wine. A welcome drink is offered in the garden.

“The absolute best accommodations close to Montepulciano”
We feel Il Rondò Boutique Hotel is the best accommodation one can have in the close vicinity of Montepulciano. We travelled the entire region of Tuscany, a great deal of Marche and Umbria by car and spent three nights in Florence. This hotel is by far the best accommodation we had during the entire trip. It offers a wonderful ambiance, a great breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, and the staff is absolutely the best. Laura is an incredibly professional, warm and efficient front person for the hotel. We can't say enough about how much we appreciated and respected her.

Wonderful 2 night stay just a 10/15 min walk to the old town. Very friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast and lovely garden so sit and have an afternoon drink. Comfortable, clean room. Parking on site is a massive bonus! Would definitely stay again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. The receptionist was incredibly attentive and took the time to give us excellent recommendations, which made our stay even more special. The hotel itself is nestled in toscany and beautifully maintained green setting, creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is full of Italian charm, making the whole experience feel authentic and unique. Another highlight is the location: the historic center, absolutely stunning and rich in beauty, is only about a 15-minute walk away. It was such a pleasure to explore everything so easily. Thank you for everything — this lovely little hotel is truly a hidden gem and a must-visit!

“A gorgeous, genuine, historic Tuscan Villa!”
A proper, genuine, historic Tuscan villa with beautiful furniture and paintings, a gorgeous place! The family who owns the villa are very nice, charming people, they have prepared a great breakfast and we had a most pleasant conversation with the smiling Signora, it was very hard for me to leave this amazing place!

Stunning location and place itself. Up hill walk to town (10 mins) so not ideal for anyone with disabilities. Host was lovely (Laura), super friendly and helpful.

Our stay here was wonderful. Room was lovely and quiet, very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a good selection laid out buffet style. Laura was very friendly, she checked our arrival time beforehand, and also checked us in and out. The hotel is walkable into the old town, although quite steep, it is fine. And after a few wines in the town, at least it is all downhill going back to the hotel! The hotel itself is lovely and in a quiet rural setting. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

“Good experience in an original family running boutique hotel”
Breakfast was great, with the option to have eggs or toast made just for you. The coffee, prepared by a family member, was excellent. The family who runs the place is friendly and always willing to help. Everything was very clean, and the facilities were well maintained. We liked having a kettle with tea bags in the hallway, which we shared with just one other room. There is also a balcony where you can sit in the evening and enjoy some local wine. Just remember to bring something to protect yourself from mosquitoes.

“Lovely”
Beautiful building and bedrooms. Lovely host and very good breakfast. Good location but you must be mobile and have a level of fitness to walk up to the centre
