Overview
Located in the countryside, this former farmhouse overlooks the Capestang Pond. It features an outdoor swimming pool and modern guest rooms, some with free Wi-Fi access. “Perfect choice for relaxing in nature”
Marion was very welcoming, warm and sincere. She speaks excellent english, so my poor command of the french language was not an issue. The building itself is beautifully restored and thoughfully furnished. Petite déjeuner was varied and featured homemade yogurt and fig jam, among other offerings. The location is tranquil, with a view over the étang. In late March, I drifted to sleep to a gentle frog chorus and awoke in the morning to bird song. I was in the area for a birdwatching outing; for me La Bergerie de l'Etang was a perfect choice.

“Exceptional Host”
This is our fourth year staying there - I think that speaks for itself. We’ll be back for sure. Everything is perfect. The host; Marion is very attentive and is willing to help you organise restaurants, bookings and give ideas while you stay. Marion’s breakfasts are exceptional - lots of traditional french options, you won’t be disappointed. If you want a little piece of quiet in a traditional French hamlet, this is the place for you.

This place is run by a lovely and helpful host Marion. The house itself is charming, set in a beautiful location with lovely countryside views. Tasty breakfast, chance to relax by the pool. All in all a great experience!

An extraordinary house. Shared huge living room full of history delighted us. The surrounding nature with its rich wild life reminds us of a protected area. Don't expect a luxurious residence, it's more like the castle from the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty;)

Nice accomodation. We sleeped very well. I am happy that the wifi/microwave radiation have a bad signal because when I under strong wifi signal I have headache, I am tired and sleep bad.
