Overview
Situated right on the beach, this all-inclusive hotel offers a casino, a large outdoor pool and hot tub. Each air-conditioned room has a furnished balcony with views of the tropical gardens or ocean. Barceló Montelimar’s spacious, elegant rooms are located in the main hotel building or in cabins. All include cable TV, a safe and a minibar with free house drinks. Barceló Montelimar offers tennis courts, a minigolf course and a gym. Daily activities include dance, aerobics classes and water sports. Buffet meals are served in the Océano restaurant, while La Casona offers à la carte cuisine. There is a poolside snackbar and a disco bar. House beverages are included from 10:00 until 02:00. The complex is situated in Montelimar, on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. The Río Escalante Nature Reserve is a 45-minute drive away.

“Rather disappointing”
The pools seemed to be clean and I appreciated that there was an adult only pool. Staff were friendly.

“Wonderful stay Super value fo money I shall never forget the volume of food produced and consumed around me”
I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo

“Nice break on the Pacific coast. Lovely grounds”
The grounds were large and very well maintained. The food was tasty and always plentiful. Room ( bungalow) was clean and comfortable and in a good condition. Lots of beach loungers Dining room staff very efficient always smiling and helpful. Housekeeping staff friendly.
