“Lovely home in stunning white village”

The property is a lovely, cozy, clean home in an excellent location near the town center. The village is absolutely charming with a few restaurants and bars. The view from the house is amazing. We loved watching the goats jump around the mountain. The pool was lovely- just what was needed in the summer heat. The owner was very nice and helpful.

We were met by a local to get the keys and introduced to everything as well as helped with the luggage. We were informed by a local festival on the same evening which we happily attended. The location of the villa is close to the local square and to a few small shops. There are lots of restaurants literally around the corner and on the square and a bakery less than 5 min walk away. The town is very charming and without influence of tourists. The villa is clean and well decorated to meet the mood of the town and it feels like being pushed back a lot of decades which was perfect for us. The pool area was very nice and everything was clean and maintained. There was water for us on arrival.

What a truly unique and remarkable place!! The accommodation was far more amazing than we had expected. Beautiful bedrooms with great views, lovely bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, terrace balcony and your own private swimming pool. Just wow. Thank you!! The town of Montejaque is an incredible traditional little mountain town, we stayed during a festival and it was the highlight of our trip. Our lovely hosts couldn’t do enough to help us, meeting us when we arrived, helping with our bags and providing us with so much useful information about the town. If your going to Ronda and don’t experience staying in the town of Montejaque and this beautiful beautiful accommodation, you may as well just stay home. Its soo good.

“Beautiful, perfect, relaxing… we can’t wait to return”

Our flight was delayed and we didn’t reach the house until 2:45am… Sonja and Antonio met us and even made sure our two boys had some pizza as we had been travelling for a long time due to flight delays etc. We instantly felt comfortable as our hosts were just amazing! From the very first booking right to the end of handing back the keys. Very lovely people!! The house was a dream.. it gave comfort and a safety feel like going to your grandmas house, everything had its place and was immaculately clean! The beds are so cosy! Every room has air con which is marvellous! The house itself was nice and cool without the aircon to be honest. The pool is just amazing, it’s salt water, so fresh and Antonio came to clean it mid week. The kids absolutely loved the house and the holiday… It was so relaxing!! The views are some of the best we have seen, beautiful mountains with fab wildlife, mountain goats, vultures, lizards … Montijaque is such a beautiful town, it’s only small and we loved watching the locals laugh and have fun with their family and friends. Our children are 12 and 14 and we felt so safe and peaceful. We drove to Ronda which was brilliant! So much to see and do… but Montejaque stole our hearts. Our time didn’t go quick, it was slow placed and so chilled … we really got to spend some proper family time together 💕💕 Be sure to hire a car though … It’s about 1:40 from the airport, lovely drive though!
