Staff, Location

Location of the resort was perfect, close enough to all the entertainment spot. Great customer from the front desk and restaurant staff. Only down side was that, the room that I got didn’t have any refrigerator and the beds was a bit small but apart from that the stay was pretty good.

The grounds are open and spacious, well laid out. Warm and welcoming reception area. Friendly and helpful staff, got to give Jeffrey a special mention! Nice restaurant on site with delicious food and plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. The location is great, within walking distance to Doctor’s Cave beach (5 mins) and lots of other local amenities. Would recommend this place.

The resort is clean and in a great location. The staff are extremely kind and hospitable. They go above and beyond. I went with my kids and felt very safe and secure being there. Poolside bar and restaurant were super convenient and it's very affordable. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back (hopefully without kids lol) and will be my go to whenever I'm in Montego Bay.

Courteous staff and friendly

We stayed at Toby’s Resort twice during our three week roundtrip through Jamaica with our rental car, once directly after arriving in Jamaica and again for our last night before the flight home. Both stays were great. We had very nice rooms both times and immediately felt welcome and well taken care of. The restaurant was very good, the pool area was relaxing and we especially liked having a balcony during both stays. The location is also perfect, only about 10 minutes from the airport by car, which makes it an ideal place to stay before or after a flight. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it for anyone starting or ending a Jamaica roadtrip.

The food options.

I booked a room for my friend. She had the conformation number, paperwork ect. We are from Canada. They did not allow her to spend the night. Very dissatisfied. She had nowhere to stay the night before travelling back to Canada!

“A perfect way to round off my trip.”

I stayed at Toby’s Resort again for one night before my flight back to the UK, and it was the perfect way to round off my trip. The location is incredibly convenient for the airport, which made travel day feel effortless. Once again, the staff were fantastic - warm, welcoming, and consistently helpful. This visit also came with a rather special and unexpected highlight. I found myself staying during the owner’s wedding celebrations and had the pleasure of observing part of the event from the pool area. It was a beautiful occasion - the couple looked stunning, and there was such a joyful, relaxed atmosphere that seemed to extend to everyone around. One of my favourite moments was chatting with an 85-year-old second cousin of the groom, who was an absolute delight! Not only was he wonderful company, but he also very confidently assured me he would assist in my search for a husband, a service I had not realised Toby’s Resort offered, but one I very much appreciated! It was a memorable and heartwarming end to my stay in Jamaica. Thank you again to the team for such a lovely experience. Wishing the happy couple a beautiful marriage ahead, ps, it is widely considered good luck if it rains on your wedding day, to which you had plentiful :)
