I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Hélène and Peter were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive throughout my stay. They were always available and made sure that every guest felt cared for. The house itself is absolutely stunning — very clean, perfectly located, and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend staying here and I would definitely come back!

“Hidden Gem”

A Hidden gem, my new favorite spot! I'm older and so a lot of the hustle and bustle of the Hip Strip is lost on me. I want a place that is quiet and beautiful; rest and relaxation are most important to me. Wow, wow, wow!!! Polkerris was Amazing!!! It won't be for everyone; it's up a hill which will immediately reveal what shape your heart is in, and honestly, the hill was taxing enough that I didn't want to walk it every day. Fortunately, I didn't have to!! A gentleman named Michael is the prompt and courteous driver the property recommends, but the property is so tranquil and peaceful that who wants to leave?!? I felt like I was in my own private island getaway!! From the arrival, with Laura's husband taking my bags, to meeting Laura, the manager who made herself available 24/7, to the delightful woman who served us every morning whose name I failed to get, to Ms. Teresa, the matriarch who, though elderly, is actively involved with management of the property - - so much about this trip was simply superlative. My room opened onto the pool, and breakfast each day was overlooking the beautiful waters of Montego Bay. This won't be for everyone, but if you want a place to recharge your batteries, to be surrounded by natural beauty, and to have the option of being right in the middle of the Hip Strip if you want, this is the place! I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed it!!!

Beautifully presented. Wonderful atmosphere. And so so comfortable no matter which space you were in. To be honest I could have happily spent my days on the veranda watching the world go by. Laura and Charlotte were so lovely and helpful. And who could forget the cat, lived pats and smooching.

“Nice but a few disappointments and things to consider”

The property was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable one I slept in during my whole stay - by far. I was asleep within minutes every time I got into it. Our room had a patio door and separate entrance from the main gate that requires a card key. I liked that we could come and go without going through the rest Of the property. This was very convenient especially at night. The breakfast was tasty, a little cold at times due to it not being made on site. Someone delivered our orders every day. The table was set nicely for us and the breakfast was plentiful no doubt. The view while eating is wonderful. We opted for Jamaican and I had ackee and salt fish mostly. The rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly with enough towels and a small kettle, tea cups and tray on request. After 8pm you can't use the microwave to warm up any food you have but breakfast is from 8.30 in the morning. We managed without kitchen facilities in our room just fine. In the morning, you just let them know when you're at the table and they bring your food. They serve tea, fruits, porridge and then the main breakfast with hard food and fried dumplings. They have containers to take away which was useful as I was so full everyday. The view overlooks the sea which is lovely and if you sit up there at night you can hear the music from the hip strip. This did not affect our sleep at all. There were stray cats in the garden looking for food when we arrived. They were incredibly cute and we only saw them once during our 4 night stay, so they were not a nuisance at all. I felt safe in the property. It's gated and I did see a ring doorbell outside it. The shower was amazing with hot water and we had enough towels. We both loved our housekeeper. Her name has slipped me but she was the one who cleaned our rooms and bought extra towels to us. She provided us with whatever we needed and had such a warm manner.

The breakfast was amazing, the view was fantastic. The bed and breakfast is very beautiful and very well located! Close to doctors cave beach and walking distance to some fantastic restaurants.
