Located in a peaceful district, in the heart of Montargis, this old bourgeois residence benefits from a privileged location one hour south of Paris and close to the Loire Valley. The Logis Hôtel Central features 12 renovated rooms with private bathroom and free broadband internet access, and a sumptuous wooden staircase dating back to 1650. The lounge area is ideal to relax and grab a bite to eat and there is a terrace. Also known as the Venice du Gâtinais, Montargis features numerous canals and 131 bridges.

“An unexpectedly wonderful hotel”
I was made welcome, given an airy room with a lovely view, and comfy bed, a clean new shower and quiet. In the morning I was greeted with friendship, and a fine french breakfast with home made jams. I was readied by such to continue my bicycle tour on EuroVelo 3 especially as the bike had received a room downstairs also to rest in. Great place, good people.

Staying in this carefully renovated centuries-old house in the very centre of historic Montargis was both comfortable and very convenient. I would recommend Logis Cêntral Hotel without a slightest hesitation !

“Perfect for those on a short stay”
I was on a walking holiday, staying in a different place every night for 15 nights: meaning that I have a lot to compare it to. Although this is a hotel, the staff were very friendly and made it feel more like a guest house. The price was very reasonable, as was the breakfast, which was simple but fine for the price.

“Better than I expected”
Quiet hotel in the heart of the high street. Location wise was amazing and what we needed. Staff greeted us well and made us feel welcomed. Rooms were cleaned well. Really enjoyed out stay.

“Recommended for a genuinely lovely stay”
From the welcome I received, to the fabulous breakfast, I could not fault this excellent hotel. I was greeted and allowed to check in early, even though I'd only asked if I could drop my case. They had known I would be early and prepared my room first. So kind. The room was not large but it was plenty big enough and had an excellent shower room and private facilities. There was a nice full length mirror so I could see I looked respectable before I left the room too. The julliet balcony on to the street opened easily and the cooler air coming in was welcome. There is a lovely roof terrace at the back of the property to sit and relax.
