“Quiet, warm and amazing place”

The place is amazing, peaceful, quiet and with beautiful landscape, the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I missed options of wine tasting with (or not) a diner, but they explained that this happens normally on the weekend. A visit to the winery also should be a plus, but they received us with their wine (tasty). The breakfast is a warm hug with great options, really carefulness. The pool, spa are great with an amazing view.

“Lovely stay on our honeymoon”

We loved staying here, everything was great: the room, the views, the breakfast, Bettina and her husband were very nice and they also offered us a tour of the winery and explained how they started with this business. Their dog was also super cute. We liked the pool and the surroundings and we would come back in a second.

We stayed at Baglio Caruana for 10 days. We celebrated our honeymoon here. Although most guests stay here for aproximatly 2-3 nights we had a longer stay. We really enjoyed the location and the hosts were absolutely amazing! A very friendly and warm welcome and they made us feel comfortable. The hotel itself had all facilities as stated. We enjoyed some pooldays aswel as some trips to the beach and towns around Montallegro. We had lovely dinners and a winetasting, which were all very well organised. The owners and staff were always extremely friendly! Also the dog Arthur was so sweet! Thankyou for making our honeymoon such a memorable time! Kind regards, Daniel & Marcia

“Great location for relaxing, chilled stay.”

We chose to stay here for 3 nights after a week in a villa in Trapani with a large family group. We needed somewhere tranquil and relaxing to allow us to recover! The Baglio Caruana met our requirements perfectly. We stayed in the “new” rooms offset from the main building. These were spacious and comfortable and had panoramic windows and a patio with a wonderful view over vineyards and hills. The host Bernina and husband Roberto looked after us well from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was an experience in itself, though you will need a sweet tooth to fully enjoy it. The restaurant was only open on our last night. Not sure if this was because it was the start of the Easter Holy Week, or not, but no problem for us. We were served a delicious set menu of mostly vegetarian, Sicilian influenced dishes accompanied by very good wines produced at the hotels own vineyards. On the other 2 nights we ate at a local restaurant a short drive away on the beach at Bovo Marina. The one detraction which we would alert people too is that at the time of our stay (April 2025) there was ongoing renovation of part of the main building, and repairs to pathways in front of the new rooms resulting in a bit of a trip hazard. We did not find this a problem ourselves as the location more than made up for it.

I had such a wonderful time here! The place is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were truly lovely, kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I was traveling alone, and they made me feel completely safe and supported. They even recommended great places to visit and helped me organize my trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to work during my stay. I definitely want to come back one day. Thank you to everyone who hosted me and made my stay so special!
